BIOGRAPHY
Eugene Godfried was born in Curazao in the Netherlands Antilles. He has devoted a significant part of his life to broadcasting and communications in his native island, but has also worked in sister countries in the Caribbean, USA, Canada and Europe. His professional work on Cuban radio stations includes Radio Taino, Radio Progreso, Radio Rebelde, and Radio CMKS-Guantanamo, among others. Since 1995, he has conducted the Caribbean Desk of Radio Habana Cuba International as a Caribbean Specialist. Eugene is fluent in seven languages. His main broadcast languages include English, Spanish,
Papiamentu, French, and Kreol.
RADIO EUGENE GODFRIED is nothing but a firm continuation of the same tradition of opening up the windows and doors
of DIALOGUE among all peoples of the world for PEACE, EQUALITY AND SOCIAL
PROGRESS.

Eugene Godfried nacio en Curazao, las Antillas Neerlandes. Ha dedicado una Buena parte de su vida en trasmisiones y medios de comunicacion tanto en su isla natal, pero sobretodo en paises hermanas del Caribe, Estados Unidos, Canada y Europa. Su trabajo professional en Cuba fueron con Radio Taino, Radio Progreso, Radio Rebelde, Radio CMKS – Guantanamo, entre otras. Desde 1995 ha ocupado funciones de conductor de asuntos del Caribe como especialista del Caribe para Radio Habana Cuba Internacional. Realiza sus trasmisiones fundamentalmente en ingles,
espanol, frances, papiamentu, y kreol.
Eugène Godfried est né à Curaçao dans les Antilles Néerlandaises. Il a consacré l’essentiel de sa vie à échanger et divulguer. Près de la Caraïbe, il a considéré aussi les U.S.A, le Canada et l’Europe. Il a travaillé sur plusieurs stations de radio cubaine dont ‘Radio Taino’ ‘Radio Progresso’ ‘Radio Rebelde’ ainsi que ‘Radio CMKS-Guantanamo’
Depuis 1995, il dirige, en tant que spécialiste, le ‘ Caribbean Desk of Radio Habana Cuba International’. Eugène parle couramment sept langues. Plus principalement : l’anglais, l’espagnol, le papiamentu, le français et le créole.
Radio Eugène Godfried est une manifestation de sa volonté d’étendre les frontières du dialogue aux peuples du monde entier. Il œuvre pour la Paix, l’Egalité, les progrès sociaux vers l’Egalité.
